Baby Raccoon!

Yaya, Das, Uncle Ben, and Aunt Haley found a baby raccoon entangled in plastic at Jagerhoff this weekend. After freeing him, no one had the heart to let him go, and my dad brought him home. Ben named him "Bandit." He's actually really cute, and makes cute little noises. My dad said that they are really only good "pets" for about a year, and then they turn mean; so, he is taking little Bandit to the wildlife center in the morning, but only after introducing him to the grandkids. For such a little guy, he sure has some sharp looking claws.

Bliss isn't so sure about him.

Neither was Tatum.

Das ended up carrying him in his shirt pocket the rest of the night to keep him warm. You couldn't even see him; so cute!

Lake Trip

Clint brought back his family boat from Seguin the last time we were there. We tried it out today with the Norths at Buffalo Springs Lake. Luke and Bliss didn't actually get in the boat, but we all had a GREAT summer day! Afterwards we cooked out.

Bliss and Mommy

Tatum's first boat ride. She loved it; especially when the boat went fast. She also liked swimming in the lake and playing tether ball with her daddy!

Sweet girl

Worn out after a long day at the lake :)

Cool baby & mommy's buddy!

Growing so fast!

May 31st, 2010, 3 weeks old

She had her 1st road trip at 4 weeks old to the ranch and did GREAT. She met our Godson, Hayden, and his parents, Ryan & Heather Gold.

5 weeks old. She started smiling this week :) and began sleeping in her own crib . . . that is unless daddy is on call and mommy likes to keep her a little closer in her bassinet.

6/22/10-- still 6 weeks old, but I just thought this pic was too cute to not include. Somehow, I missed her 7 week picture. But at 7 weeks, Bliss had a lot of firsts! She took her 1st road trip to Seguin and went to daddy's 10-yr high school reunion. She celebrated her 1st 4th of July, attending both the parade and the fireworks. She did great!

Precious smile, still 6 weeks old

She started trying to laugh. It sounds more like a little cough, but it is still super cute.

Daddy's girl

Clint celebrated his 1st Father's Day on June 20th, the day before Bliss turned 6 weeks old! We celebrated by seeing my grandad in Amarillo and taking my dad out to eat. Bliss tried to give her daddy a very special present at the restraunt by having a huge blowout! But Clint handed her off to mommy just in time. Here are a few pictures of Bliss with her daddy!
2 weeks old before Bliss was sleeping so good. Clint was pulling out all the tricks . . . swaddling, rocking, and the blow dryer :)

2 weeks old. Clint's first time to babysit alone and Bliss's first bottle. I had to go to a quick dinner for Haley's bachelorette party. Clint did a great job for that hour; by the time I got home; she was fed and fast asleep!

5 weeks old. Happy Father's Day Clint!

Beicker Chicks!

On June 18th, when Bliss was 5 weeks old, we went to Amarillo to see my grandparents and so Brinley and Brylen could meet their new cousin. We had a great time with my grandparents and with the girls. It was also Bliss's first cow show!

That's right, that's Brylen pulling a bull. She is quite brave!

Our Anniversary

On June 16th, Clint and I celebrated our 4-year wedding anniversary! My parents watched Bliss while we went out to dinner. It was a really great anniversary, and I am so thankful for the man I married, and that he is Bliss's daddy!!! It's been a great 4 years. He is my best friend, and I couldn't ask for a better man to share all of this with! I love you, Handsome!
